by Randy Duermyer on April 30, 2010

I’ll be attending the 2010 online Social Media Success Summit that runs from May 4th through May 25th, 2010 and reporting on it right here on the Market It Write blog.

The list of presenters at this year’s summit includes a number of experts in our blog roll:

  • Guy Kawasaki: Entrepreneur and co-founder of Alltop.
  • Mari Smith: Author of Facebook Marketing: An Hour a Day
  • Lewis Howes: Author of LinkedWorking
  • Greg Jarboe: Author of YouTube and Video Marketing: An Hour a Day
  • Michael Stelzner: Founder of
  • Kim Dushinski: Author of The Mobile Marketing Handbook
  • Ann Handley: Chief Content Officer of MarketingProfs.
  • Twitter Power Panel: Including Chris Brogan, Darren Rowse of ProBlogger, Brian Clark from Copyblogger and Rick Calvert

Additional experts in the field of social media as well as panelists and presenters from businesses will be featured. Case studies will be showcased on how big businesses are using social media marketing to their advantage, including Domino’s Pizza, Home Depot, Best Buy and Whole Foods.

The Social Media Success Summit features a total of 17 online “sessions” over the course of 7 days. I will be attending most of them and posting takeaways from those sessions the following morning. I also hope to include links to takeaways from other bloggers attending the Summit on the sessions I’m unable to attend.

Watch for updates on our blog throughout the month of May. I’ll add links to my individual session takeaways to the bottom of this post, which can then act as a table of contents for our coverage of the Summit. If you Tweet, you can find additional coverage by searching with the Twitter hashtag that’s been set up for this year’s summit: #smss10.

My first Summit post is planned for next Wednesday, May 5th, and will cover Guy Kawasaki’s opening Keynote, How to Use Twitter as a Marketing Weapon. We hope you’ll follow along with us as we cover this exciting Summit.

You’re welcome. Thanks for checking it out. Who knows, maybe next year you’ll be blogging about it and I’ll be reading your posts (although I would definitely attend again if I’m able to)!

The link to Day 5, alas, goes to Day 4!
Otherwise, an excellent resource. Many thanks.
